_{Utilizing sculpture, drawing, photography and text, Shirley Wiebe activates the gallery space with a multi-part installation, forming a personal narrative driven by an engagement with the emotional and sensory content of dreams. Known as a master of re-purposed everyday materials, she draws on the deep personal and collective meanings or specific forms and
physical objects " a house, a door, a window, a stairway, a bridge " that re-occur throughout her practice. Wiebes project reflects on wakefulness and dreaming, the boundaries between the seen and unseen, the remembered and the forgotten, and points to the connection between an individual and a collective unconscious.}

_{While Vietnam has long been photographed from the outside, first through the lens of war and recently as a travel destination, little is known about the photographic conditions within contemporary Vietnam. As an artist and community organiser, Hà Đào has spent nearly a decade engaging with the country's photographic past and present through Matca, an independent photographer-run initiative based in Hanoi.
This talk offers a perspective on contemporary photography in Vietnam grounded in making, researching, and sustaining a community from within, and reflects on what it means to inherit a complex photographic legacy while assembling, with one's own resources, the structures needed to understand and expand that inheritance today.}

_{Solar Bee Garden Tea Zen REMIX Special Event Series: Workshop
Peter Courtemanche
Join exhibiting artist Peter Courtemanche (Absolute Value of Noise) for a 3-hour workshop meditating on the technology and philosophy of analogue noise and sound art.
Since 1988, Courtemanche has created many radio pieces that have been heard around the world on national radio stations, community radio, and temporary radio stations set up for arts festivals and radio-art events. He likes to work with gadgetry " bio-electric analog circuits, wire coils, magnetic transceivers, and little electronic brains that observe and respond to local
phenomena. His outdoor installations typically integrate solar-powered electronics with plants.
These works investigate themes of bio-diversity, extinction, and fragile eco-systems. They emphasize the invisible, drawing attention to things people normally overlook or avoid/dislike (insects, lichen, moss, weeds, pollution).
